You're invited! Let us Gather Together To Learn What We Have Forgotten!

For those that are not local, I will begin hosting online live classes! I will send out information on that as soon as I figure that all out. I am not a techy person and I am so grateful for the help I ask for and receive. I have connected with a fabulous group of like-minded, homesteading entrepreneurs. We all encourage each other to make our homesteading crafts and skills into monetary support. I could not do this without the support of all of you. I am feeling extremely grateful for all of the love and support our little forest farm and school has received!

The Freeborn family and I recently moved off the mountain for winter. We return weekly to check on our cats and cabin. There was about 3 feet of snow we tromped through last Sunday! We are residing at Alpine Village Farms. They have graciously allowed us space (and heat!) in their greenhouses to teach classes. We have a whole line up of classes coming up! So exciting. We will be teaching anything that has to do with farming, foraging, medicine making, herbal remedies, homestead hacks, traditional healing foods cooking class, bonsai with Jason, etc.! Alpine Village will have veggie starts organically grown with love and care for purchase in the spring. More on that project to come!

Now we can gather and not live in fear that the police will be called on us (that didn't really happen here in North Idaho during the Covid lockdown but I heard of horrific stories from family and friends residing in other parts of the country and world)! Since there is so much illness, pollutants, stressors we are facing due to current affairs, it is so important that we learn self-reliance. How to make what you need. Food, clothing, shelter and medicine. It is time we create local agriculture and networking of homegrown and handcrafted goods! How to treat illness and injury at home. We like to combine herbs, food, homeopathy and aromatherapy. Let us learn from one another and ask for help when we are stuck. It takes a village. Freeborn Family Farms is an off-grid homestead and forest farm/ outdoor school. Our friends and partners at Alpine Village Farms have greenhouses, an orchard and future home for the school/ educational seminars and birthing center. We are creating the change we want to see in the world. It starts local. It starts with us. For the sake of a better future for our children and their children. When the world has gone crazy, make your tea, read to your children, make a healthy meal to share with your family and pray for peace.

Much love and Merry Christmas!

I am so happy to hear of this news, Jessica! You are well-suited to this mission. If I can be of any help, just reach out. On another note, how/when can we connect so I can get my tea order from you? (Custom Christmas blend for my visiting family over the holiday.) Be well and happy in the blessings around you!
