It is well within my soul. Thy will be done on earth at it is in heaven. So many blessings, lessons, and changes since the last time I have written here. We are currently still in California on some amazing projects. The blessing about working on our homeland soil is that the growing climate is ideal year-round and we are in high demand at the moment. Yet we truly miss Idaho and the medicine that we normally would be harvesting right now. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and spending my mornings writing about these wild American plants has truly gotten me very well acquainted. A big surprise is that I am finding them in the least suspecting places. On a family foraging drive in March of this year, I eyed a purple Trillium off an old stagecoach road on the outskirts of HWY 101 near San Luis Obispo. It had to have been over 100 years old. You can count the scars of growth on the rhizomes but I didn't want to disturb this living antique so I took a photo instead.

The book has been written. This has taken me three years to complete. Pre-orders will be available soon as I am now in the designing/ formatting process. It has taken a lot of hard work, study, passion, and dedication and I consider this my masterpiece of my lifetime. With a book series to follow.

Please check out our new and improved website! It has taken me a lot to figure out the digital realm. We are more of a hands-in-the-soil type but I did it! The website now functions and we will be stocking the store with all of our best sellers.
The forest school has really taken off! Our new classroom is at the Santa Ynez Botanic Gardens. It has proven to be the best classroom and the children are blossoming! These kids are so bright and are natural born herbalists who truly care for the earth.
Workshops and foraging classes are being planned and I will announce my fall and winter schedule.
I will also be teaching every Friday at Launch Pad in Santa Maria. I will be teaching homeschooled students of all ages domestic arts such as fermentation, hosting, cooking, herbalism, history, art technique, etc.!
Love and blessings to all!
