10 ways to enjoy Freeborn Family Farms Elderberry Elixir:

There are so many creative ways to enjoy our Elderberry elixir! Here are some suggestions taste tested by us and our family and friends.

1. Mix 1 tablespoon with 8 ounces of sparkling water.

2. Mix 1 tablespoon with a glass of Red wine or to taste.

3. Mix 1 tablespoon with vodka and ice and a dash of sparking water.

4. Mix approximately 2 tablespoon with 8 ounces of maple syrup, coconut syrup or agave nectar and pour over pancakes or waffles.

5. Simply enjoy a tablespoon a day to keep the doctor away! (Note this is not medical advice).

6. Mix 2 tablespoons to about 4 ounces of raw honey and use as a sandwich spread. My kids love this with chunky peanut butter!

7. Make chutney to enjoy with a charcuterie board or cream cheese and crackers. For chutney: add 2 tablespoons to 4 ounces of chunky apricot jam or puree.

8. Add to fruit smoothies. Pairs great with raspberries, mangoes and peaches! Blend up with your favorite milk and ice.

9. Add to a ginger bread cookie recipe. Will make adorable purple gingerbread men!

10. Make your own elderberry gummies! Add fruit pectin to elderberry elixir, pour in silicon mold, let harden and enjoy!
